FAQ

Q: What is Lionheart Machinima?

A: Lionheart Machinima is a machinima studio company that goes way back to 2004, when me and some friends decided to do a machinima series in Halo 1, partially based off Red vs Blue.

Today, we do videos. Sometimes we would be asked to direct, film, act or edit a machinima, which we would gladly do, making us a "Machinimators for hire" machinima company.

Q: What game do you use to make Machinima?

A: That would really depend on what kind, genre or machinima you want.

I mostly use Halo, but I'd rather use it for things not possible in another engine I have or if its related to the plot.

Another thing I use, which I don't really consider a game, is Moviestorm. A very good machinima software by Short Fuse Inc.

Its sort of a combo between The Sims and iClone.

Check it out at:

Q: What programs do you use to make your videos?

A: For video recording I use a Pinnacle Dazzle DVC100 Capture Card (Shitty, I know). For capturing, Pinnacle Studio 10, for voice recording, Audacity version 1.2.6, for video editing I use Adobe Premiere Pro.

Q: How can I be a voice actor for Lionheart Machinima?

A: Most of the voice actors I use are friends or people I know across the internet. But if you think you have talent, send a voice sample with multiple recordings of your voice and capabilities to figlesiase@gmail.com, and if we ever need you, I'll contact you.

Q: When can I expect the next video?

A: What you need first, is patience. Machinima is currently a pretty time consuming hobby for me, so don't expect me to be popping out videos every week like DigitalPh33r or Rooster Teeth does.

I'll be hinting if I was going to release a new short or series. So don't worry, I don't think you'll miss it if I do.

Q: If I have a question I'd like to ask?

A: Then send us a message in the "Contact Us" Link in the upper banner, or the navigation bar to your upper left.
